Weekly Update: Sept. 21- 25
Another week of learning together! We continued our work with pre-printing lines, recognizing and printing our names correctly. It will be something we will continue to practice each day. Monday: Our learning task today was practicing curvy lines with our air pencils, whiteboards and then our printing books. It was important to remember the formation of these lines and where to start and end. Read aloud of the day: Tuesday: We learned about 2D shapes and how we can see shapes all around us. We practiced our cutting skills to cut our shapes and use our "driving hand" to help move the paper around to make cutting the shapes easier. We practiced drawing the shapes in our visual journals. Read aloud of the day: Wednesday: In math, we continued our patterning work. We watched a video about patterning and how we can use many different things to create a pattern.
